img_2988Jean and I at Denver’sTattered Cover…wishing I had been wise enough to take a photo of the view that Jean and I saw in front of us. Over 100 people, in a packed house, standing room only, gathered to hear the story of Jean Dubofsky’s journey through the justice years and inspire us to continue to the battle for equality and justice. Thanks to so many friends, old and new, who came to cheer us on. And buy books by the handful!

It was a very special night at the Boulder Bookstore: a “sold out” event with folks buying standing room only tickets to fill every nook and cranny.  A real tribute to hometown hero, Jean Dubofsky. Jean and I just loved the discussion about how far we have come and how far we have to go in the ongoing search for equality and justice. And we were moved by the long line waiting patiently for us to sign books after our talk. Couldn’t have been a more wonderful evening!
